![]() Now click Text options (I think this options only shows up if you have a text file (.txt) in the folder you have imported with your scans) Across the ribbon in the center of the screen you will have three options.įrom here you will see "Coordinate System" what I do is set both of these to the same thing. Next you will be on the scan settings page. ![]() So to start i'm running RECAP PRO 6.0.1.21įor what i'm doing though, I have found that the units when selecting your targets seem to have reverted back to Meters rather than whatever units you have set RECAP to. Many times this is when the units will flip back to meters so we return to the model, change back to feet and inches, go back to registration to add survey points and ReCap has switched units back to meters again.ĭoes anyone else have this issue and if so is there a fix? For us it seems changing the units, saving, closing the software and starting again works sometimes but it seems to randomly stick or randomly change back to meters.Īny advice or help is greatly appreciated! Many times, after the model is created, we go back and add survey points to reference our model. We import our scans from a BLK360 and create our point cloud model then change the units the first chance the software allows us to. We use feet and inches for all of our projects and I have noticed lately that after starting a project and setting units to feet and inches the software will frequently revert back to meters not only when opening the project again but sometimes also while the project is still open and being worked on.
